The WorkSite for SharePoint integration is the first offering resulting from the recently expanded relationship between Interwoven and Microsoft to enable information workers--starting with professional services companies including legal, accounting, management consulting, corporate legal departments, and IT consulting--to manage the entire content lifecycle through the tight integration of the Interwoven WorkSite CDM, E-Mail Management, and Records Manager solutions with the Microsoft platform including Office and Windows systems.
The integration of Interwoven CMS solutions with technologies like SharePoint Portal Server 2003 is enabling Interwoven to provide customers with access to content anywhere, anytime via portals, intranets, extranets, the desktop, and more. By enabling organizations to imbed WorkSite capabilities directly within the SharePoint Portal, Interwoven is empowering business professionals to quickly and easily achieve end-to-end content management without having to change or disrupt existing business processes.
